Soul Food Extravaganza

Boise is the best city! On Saturday my buddy Danny and I rode our bikes on the greenbelt along the Boise River.

As we were riding we came across one of Boise's annual festivals. The Soul Food Extravaganza! There was live music and soul food everywhere. No joke this is the coolest thing ever. This was created to increase the awareness of African-American culture represented in the Treasure Valley Community.

It was the best place to do some people watching.

All the performers were local artists. One of our favorite live performers was a hip-hop artist, Eleven.
Danny ran like a little boy to get one of his free cd's.

Then we had to experience the soul food....

This is a very large chicken leg. very BIG and very discusting.
But it was all part of the experience.

Along our bike ride we also came across the fishing hatchery.
A rope swing, a bridge, and a cement block to jump off of.
This is my splash...
